It’s Not You, It’s Just an Image

Using conceptual reflection, I present abstract concepts of identity, existence, and cause and effect in an attempt to challenge the viewer's thoughts on the nature of reality and existence in today’s social media world, specifically in the context of the selfie. Using interactive reflection through use of an everyday cell phone set to selfie camera mode, I hope viewers will take time to reflect on social behaviors that may be holding us back from seeing the world around us.
